I knew if I told you I was posting a Rivarossi in here you'd be reaching for the keyboard in a flash. But, I (almost) bought these cars a few days ago, before the seller changed their mind. They were a joint effort by Inco Giochi of Turin, and the aforementioned bastion of plastic. Their only creation was a Class 685 2-6-2 and its associated coaches. I've not heard of them previously, and if lots has already been discussed before my recent arrival here, my apologies. Back to your eggs Benedict and coffee.

Rivarossi models are not common at all. Nice buy.
If you want to learn more about their very small tin plate production just go here

it is in Italian but using google translation will give it in English.
Very best, Daniel
SUPER NICE acquisition! :-)
Daniel: NICE link about Rivarossi tinplate production! THANKS! :-)
I would be into having that in the drop of a pin. I am sure it is fairly rare and expensive though. I have a small collection of Italian HO scale 60's to 80's trains both Riva and lima.
