I just got part of my layout wired up enough to be able to fire it up and test it out. Everything is working except my 0-6-0 wont go over the crossover because its only got 2 rollers on the tender (and none under the engine). The plastic isolators on the crossover center are 5", the rollers 3.75" apart.
Is there any way to fix this? It boggles me a little bit that they'd only put 2 rollers on it and put them that close together (its almost like a single diesel truck). Seems to me that there should have been another roller under the engine itself. I'm sure adding one now is impossible, if not a tremendous pain because of the tether connection.
Its a PS2 model, and its atlas track.
Short of selling it and finding something with a longer roller base, is there anything that can be done?
