Thinking about adding a commuter line to our Christmas layout this year and wondering if anyone had an opinion on doubling up a RMT North Pole and Snowflake Buddy RDC (RMT-5503/5504) v getting a Lionel Candy Cane Transit Commuter set (6-30165)? I think the cost of 2 RMTs from what I've seen on the internet ($70-90 each) is equivalent to the Lionel Candy Cane ($180). Just wondering if anyone has a preference or opinion on quality of each based on their own experience/use. Just lost out on an ebay bid for RMT that went for $54 so maybe a little cheaper if I can find them. I like the color scheme of the RMT better but I don't really know anything about RMT.
