I see that RMT has a few GG1s available.  I have wanted one and really need another engine as my MTH steamer seems to be stalled in repair.

Are these typically of good quality and reliable?  I would hate to buy it then it break when RMT is gone.  I assume that since it is conventional it would easy to repair anyways.

I like to run my trains slow to keep the noise down as they are usually out during the holidays on a floor layout.  Do they go slow well?

Thanks- Bill

Bill,

I have a K-line GG-1 in brunswick green (5 stripe) that I'm getting ready to sell if you are interested.

It's the twin - can motor design and electronic e-unit (no tmcc)

Runs great. Looks new. No digs or damage. Original box and documentation. Never had any issues.

Drop me an email if interested.
