There are several spots I need to add sprng action to a bunch of Ross switches for automatic continuous running. Not wanting to reinvent the wheel I am curious what others have done to provide a spring action turnout feature for reverse loops and passing sidings.
My thought is to mount fine piano wire along side the stock rail and bow it out to pick up the throw bar for flange operation of the points. Absolutely no motor operation desired.
This will be in a hard to reach layout area so it must be bullet proof.

Thanks
