The Badgerland "S" Gaugers met at my home on Saturday and after my layout had been out of commission for to long of a time for landscaping we finally were able to have some fun.
Hopefully for your pleasure,

Mark,
Thank you so much for the comments, man you have good eyes to catch all of the items you listed. I also like the Berks, the two on the video belong to another member, but I do have the NKP and of course the Polar Express. Did you notice the switcher running conventional on the outer loop?
Ray
Wow! largest S gauge layout I've seen so far. Very nice done and runs smoothly. Very nice scenery, but maybe is in the process of finishing?
Is this someone's private layout? What size is the room?
Francine
Yes Francine, This is in the process of being finished. The layout is in my basement and is my personal layout but is built for the enjoyment of our club members. I do share the basement with my wife's quilting.
Ray
Mark,
Ray is using the Legacy Cab 1-L system. Legacy powermaster's and 180 Powerhouse's for power. I should have taken a photo of his power supply, I will next time we get together. Fun operating session!
Fred.

Ray,
I have been watching your layout progress and I think you have a wonderful following. Your layout has evolved into a real railroad with the scenery added. Your trains ran flawlessly and several operators can use it at the same time. You are promoting "S" in a very special way and I hope your endeavors will be rewarded with an increase in people interested in "S" and join us in this gauge hobby.
Congratulations on your fantastic Video and S Gauge Empire. I enjoyed the Video very much. I hope one day I will have a layout to run my trains on as you do. Thank You for all your efforts.

Don,
I need to give credit where credit is due, the videos are done by another known here as Engineer Fred, he does a fantastic job on these. Thank you Fred
Ray
Hi Ray,
How big is your basement, it looks huuuuuge.
Francine
And again, the layout is beautiful and will bring more people into the S area.
Hello Francine,
This room may look huge on the video but it is average size for a ranch style home, it may be the length of the layout that makes it look larger also. Layout is only six to eight feet wide and about thirty five feet long.
Ray
Hi Ray,
It looks much larger and it is beautiful. Your club is very fortunate to have you and your layout.
You have really inspired me to build a new layout when I move to a ranch house. I had a about 15 x 25 setup in the basement a few years ago. First O Scale then HO but centered on prototypical towns. I am leaning your way of emphasizing the trains and operations now.
Thank you for sharing.
Francine
Mark,
I forwarded your comments from the forum to the club member who added the smoke to the chimneys, this was done just before the running session. He asked me to let you know the smoke is actually floss from an aquarium filter system, he said it is easier to stretch out and make more transparent. This was affixed with Hob-e-Tac adhesive.
