Asking for a friend. Does anyone have an SW9 running gear that came from (Heaven forbid!) a unit that took a flying leap onto the floor damaging the shell?? Got new shell, looking for running gear: Frame, motor, trucks etc. AC/DC Dallee sound.

I can't answer your question, but I can provide a little info for you regarding EMD model numbers. There are no dashes in their model designations. The engine you are asking about is an SW9, not an SW-9.
The only place where EMD used a dash was in the "Dash 2" series, as in SD40-2.
