I am running a layout of American Flyer trains using American Models track. Are there any trollies in S-Scale out there that will work using AC current? I can not find anything. Thank you very much.

Well, PUTT used to make a trolly. I believe he has suspended operations because of demands of his day job. Some suppliers may have some still in stock.

Generally, no. None that I'm aware of. Maybe someone else has some ideas.
There was a company called Putt Trains that had a single truck Birney, but his tent folded around 8 years ago. Several decades ago, there was an outfit called Pope Engineering that made some resin North Shore cars, (bodies only) also hard to find.
Carl Tuveson made a Pennsy MP54 electric out of a Flyer Pullman shell. It can be seen here, it may provide some ideas:

I've seen some guys use a converted Corgi PCC car or the Bachmann On30 trolley on separate HO track, but both are a little large for S.

PA Heritage Models has a limited run traction in S.

Also this group may be of help.

but you will have to join.

I'm a 3-railer, so please take this as a friendly suggestion: the Atlas / Industrial Rail Streetcar is pretty near "S", runs on AC, and with the removal of the 2 limiting screws on the trucks will run on the K-Line / Lionel / WBB Superstreets track.
I have a Bachman Spectrum ON30 trolley that fits the bill. It is smaller than the "O" Industrial Rail, runs on "HO" track, and D.C. However, the graphics are limited to Christmas, Hershey, and United Traction Company. They retail for $75., but Amazon has the Christmas one for $50 something.
I used a Lionel Trolley. I put it between my inside and outside main lines on the far end of my layout. I used (3-rail) flex track with the American Flyer pumper on one end and a custom made control switch with the platform station from Department '56 on the other end. I use the AF 15B transformer to operate the trolley at set speed. It goes back and forth between the stations. It sits low on the layout and does'nt look that bad for its location. You can go to my web site and scroll down to the bottom of the page for more information:

You guys are an inspiration to creativity. Love the Lionel-Ives solution.
Some guys mentioned the Putt trolley. Here's mine painted in Detroit Street Railway (DSR) colors. I'd like to see them again, but Terry Putt has to make a living, and doing models isn't part of it. There's a saying here in S.... "if you want to make a small fortune in S, invest a large fortune". Few have proven this wrong.
Since I work at the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, Michigan, I had an opportunity to measure an actual Birney style trolley at the museum. Terry's is spot on.

Thank you everyone for your ideas. I am going to use a Spectrum on30 trolley that I have with Atlas code 100 super flex track. I will be using Pennsylvania Heritage Models brick in some areas and Woodland Scenics smooth-it for the rest as the trolley is going down the middle of the street in my Plasticville town.
I hadn't known about the Bachmann Spectrum On30 trolley. They look like a good option for you.
I improvised a static display On30 cable car for my O27 layout. It's a wood and fiberboard item out of a friend's junkbox, which I mounted on HO trucks. The real cable cars in San Francisco are actually 42" gauge.
