With Legacy V 1.5.

I created a passenger 'Train' (TR 1) with SF Northern 3751 and the Talking Diner. In "train link" everything worked OK.

I then created a freight 'Train' (TR 2) with the same engine and an MTH operating Reefer (i installed a mini commander in it) again in "train link' everything worked great.

When I go back to TR 1, the engine no longer responds....the Diner still works.

I was under the impression that an engine could be associated with multiple "Trains" and used with 'train link'.

Am I missing something here?

Appreciate any guidance you can offer, Ray

Not sure if I understand, after creating the TR, I press the 'set' and the locomotive responds (with the toot), and everything is ok with the newly created 'train'. The problem is the previously created 'train' will no longer work.

Even though the locomotive exist in 2 TRs, it can only be active in one.  In other words when you have it running in one TR, the other has it "pre-built".  To make it active, you have to select the other TR, push info, then push SET.  This makes it active in that TR.

When they say it can be in 2 or more TRs, it can be built in more than one, but only active in one.
