Yeah, thats pretty sweet. Like how you used the pond. I'm going to try and incorporate something similar where logs come off Lionel 364 into a creek.
Looks like chicken's on the menu for dinner Guy.
Nice bunk house and coupe.
Guy,
Great job on this model. Thanks for sharing with us.
That's truly impressive work!
Question - how many hours do you have in the structure so far?
Thanks!
---Greg
Great work!!! What is the corrugated siding you used???
That is museum quality stuff! What an amazing talent.
THANKS....love seeing things people BUILD!
AMCDave I get my siding and roofing from Northeastern scale lumber co. the framing lumber I cut out of pine 1by6 on my table saw . Greg I have about 55 to 60 hour's in the saw mill,15hr.in pond ,10hr.in boiler house ,5hr. in water tower ,15hr. in building with dust collector on side ,20hr. in bunk house and cook house and that doesn't count the time the scenery around the pond and the saw mill that I have done , I have more building the to come this week that I have done .

That is a VERY NICE coal structure Mike!
Love the filing room. Brings back memories of a large band sawmill I worked for as a sawfiler. 12" wide, 40' long, 240 teeth per blade. Level & tension the body. Swage, shape and sharpen each tooth. After 3 hours of working a blade to be razor sharp it was hung on the mill to cut logs into lumber. So proud grinning ear to ear watching the saw dust fly as perfect boards dropped to the live roll deck. Suddenly sparks would fly, teeth too. Why Why Why, I would cry, do people have to drive metal things into the trees, and who the "F" forgot to turn on the metal detector. Thank GOD I had my toy trains to go home to. After a day like that, those trains saved my sanity.
Nice work!
Dave

The office building is next to the radio tower were the bum's are having a few drink's around the fire, the vegetable garden is in front of the bunkhouse next to the cook house to feed the worker's in the mill . I have ballast all the track and grassed area's around all the building's . It is also wash day the cloth's on the cloth line behind the vegetable garden and the scare crow with the dog jumping up on it . I still have little thing's to do in this area but most of it is done.
