I started building the main building in june , the building is scratch built I got the siding lumber and roofing from northeaster scale lumber ,the interior is from B.T.S. it was all kits had to be put together and painted , I will be adding a log pond and more building's .

The roof's and the upper wall come off so you can see inside on the loading dock side of the building .
Since I have a model logging interest as the bases for my empire, I am impressed to say the least. Please follow up with more pics as you progress. Cheers, TOF in Oregon

A few questions if you would.
Is this building based on a prototype?
What is the footprint dimension of the entire logging diorama when complete?
Is it for a narrow gauge railroad?
Excellent! Way more detailed than my modeling. As above, I'd like to know prototype
and if you researched protoypes, made field trips, etc.
Thank's for all the reply's there will be more building's to go with the mill and a pond,Charlie I model it after the McGabe Lumber Co. that B.T.S. sell's that kit was to expensive for me ,I did buy the interior from them ,it is 3rail ogage ,the building is 14"x32" I have a space of 5'x5'6" for the mill site it will be by one of the switch back on the layout were it go up the mountain .
This is the area it will be .

Did some more work on the sawmill building's, added people, added vent's, dust collector's and thing's on loading dock of other building ,bolder house in place .

Add two more building's a bunk house and a cook house to the sawmill area , the long one no the right is the bunk house there is also a chicken coop by the bunk house I don't know if it will stay there, I have plan's to put a garden by the cook house too .
