I am trying to control fastrack switches using my CAB1-L and a SC-2 switch controller.  The switch I wired up works perfectly using the manual switch controller in both directions.  When I wire it up to the SC-2, it only operates the switch in one direction. I tried connecting the switch to different terminals on the SC-2 as well as connecting a different switch and I get the same results.

I can't figure out if it is a wiring issue, a programming issue or a hardware issue with my SC-2.

Any help would be appreciated!  Thanks.

My first guess is- you didn't configure the SC-2 for the correct "mode" during the programming process.

The SC-2 is just relays. It's pretty darn simple from a wiring perspective.

Again, my bet is- you didn't ensure the mode of the outputs was correct, and so it's in an "accessory mode"- hence you only get one direction.

The SC-2 is designed for three operating
modes:
1. Control four switches through the left
and center terminal blocks. Control two
momentary and two on/off accessory func-
tions through the right terminal block.
2. Control six switches using all three
terminal blocks.
3. Control six momentary and six on/off
accessory functions using all three
terminal blocks

See page 22 for
instructions to program the SC-2 in switch
only mode.
