Like many, I received my Berkshire with a broken bearing. I contacted Lionel, they sent out a replacement bearing. I got the new bearings yesterday, and I went to insert them into the pilot truck. I had to apply a lot of force, and in the process broke one of the replacement bearings (I had Lionel send two- just in case). When the replacement bearing broke, it popped out the intact bearing on the opposite end. On closer inspection, I think I found my issue, as the bearings are not identical. I am now wondering if Lionel had sent me the wrong replacement bearings, and wondering if anyone has had this issue? I attached pictures below, the bearing on the left is the intact original and the right is the replacement sent by Lionel. Anyone run into similar issues?
