I imagine its the same as Ross or Gargraves, I have experience with them. The switch points move .250 and the Caboose industries moves .280 so you have to be careful to position the Caboose Ind. properly so it throws the points equally against the stock rails. First I made a small block of wood to position the Ground throw the correct hight. I drilled holes in the block so it wouldent split when I nailed it to my roadbed with small nails. With the switch points in the center of their travel and the ground throw in the center mark where to drill holes for tiny screws to mount the Caboose Ind. Grind the pencil lead down a little or it won't fit in the Ground throws holes. Get tiny screws at a hardware store.
The trick with the Caboose ground throws on ScaleTrax is the throw bar. You need to remove the stock throw bar and replace it with one that extends beyound the ties. I like to use O scale wood ties painted with raw umber acrylic paint to extend the ties to prototypical length. This will give you the mounting platform like Dennis described. The raw umber is a spot on match for the color of the plastic MTH uses. To make the throw bar I use .080"x.156" styrene strip. Glue a couple pieces of .040"x.156" styrene on top of the .080x.156 strip where the points mount to the throw bar. Drill a couple pilot holes and then thread in #0-80 machine screws. The screws will cut their own threads, so there's no need for a tap. You can then drill a small hole in the throw bar for the Caboose ground throw,
