Schematic for Railsounds 2.5 v 1.2

No such beast.  I just fixed two GP-7/9 RS 2.5 boards.  You have to figure out what component is bad.  The bad component could be dragging down the Voltage.  I would look at the Audio amp first.   G

Thanks for the reply.. Did a bit of further troubleshooting.. The sbox 02  8 99 Ic is running very hot with 5 volts applied to the regulator output. Ohms to negative reading goes from .02k to 1.5k  when that chip is removed. Where can I order that IC. It has 5728216       p621a      on the backside. Any help would be appreciated.

You need to search internet.  Digikey and Mouser come to mind.  If it is obsolete than google search and ebay.  G

They may you need to search the Lionel parts sight.  They probably have the whole assembly.  Of course an Ebay salvage may be cheaper.  G
