So my last topic was closed, I guess some of the comments went astray.  Let's try this instead, has anyone attempted scratchbuilding an articulated car?  For those of you in an urban area think San Diego, Seattle, NJT either in Hudson or Camden, Boston or something one might see on the light rail lines all over Europe.  How would one begin to construct a three truck vehicle that flexed around the center?  I know another member built out an electric motor but I am looking for something with a decidedly urban feel.  My reason for this is two fold, it will probably never be available commercially and at some train show several years back I did see an S gauge representation of a NJT diesel LRV.  Not the best model but certainly not the worst.  That image has been stuck in my head.  Suggestions, guidance, possible materials would all be welcome, just let's keep the topic open for discussion about this single issue.
