Screw IT. Method with Scaletrax?

Has anyone used the "screw it" method to attache their feed wires to scaletrax? I have read, and am impressed with it on Atlas, just don't think it will work with the thin middle rail on scaletrax.

Any suggestions or modification that could be made to make this work on scaletrax?
