Searching for replacement bulbs for an MTH Signal Crossing Light | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

I have recently bought 2 MTH Signal Crossing Lights containing red bulbs (see pic below); I toasted one of the red bulbs by supplying 17 volts to the track. Now I am looking for replacement bulbs. On the bay, I have found the following replacement bayonet replacement bulbs but don't know if these are the right ones. Anyone have experience with this signal and its bulbs?

The #257R bulbs will work if you keep the voltage at or below 14 volts.

For a higher voltage bulb up to 16 volts, use L-53R bulbs. These are what Lionel recommends for their #154 Highway signal.
