Hey guys....just a short feel good story I wanted to share about selling to other forum members. Last weekend, I listed a number of MTH buildings for sale. I had them all packaged in a large sturdy box.
I had no idea what UPS shipping would cost. I did not feel like investigating the matter so I "guessed" at $20 and noted "I would cover the rest". I was very pleased with that arrangement.
Well, Customer "X" sent me an email to purchase my buildings along with the statement that he wanted to pay me fully for shipping, regardless of what I had posted. I told him that was not necessary but he insisted. He told me to send him the full amount once I shipped the box.
Fast forward to yesterday, I sent him the total amount and immediately he posted the additional funds to my account.
Now that is a stand up guy for sure! This is what our great hobby is all about.
Customer "X" was one of the most pleasant guys to deal with. He shall remain anonymous.
