Quality service is a rarity in this day and age. However, you should all know that Model Train Stuff in Maryland is a first-class company. I had some problems with an MTH steam engine that I bought from them in March. They put me in touch with a service rep who walked me through the repair process. When the problem re-occurred weeks later, they advised me to return it for full credit posted to my card. They even sent me a UPS mailing label. They've got a customer for life.

That is Klein's in Baltimore-ish Maryland. Very good group of people. They've got a terrific, easy to use website which seems to be pretty rare in this hobby!
That is the way it should be. A few others exist.
Agree, I just started a few months ago in this hobby and made the mistake of buying some high price locomotives and many other items from less then friendly customer service personel before visiting M B Kline. Had such a great experience with them and wish I had found them first.
