I have been in the hobby for about 3 years, acquiring items, but only have a test loop at this point. Bill Park (being the great guy he is) offered to let me run on his layout. I know he has hosted picnics, so a number of you have experienced his layout, but for those that haven't WOW! He has a layout I, (and dare I say many others) some day hope to have. He has been developing it for 30+ years. He mentioned it is actually his third layout ("third time the charmed").
He models the New Haven, I have a set of K-Line 18" NH Aluminum Passenger Cars that I bought at York Fall 2022 (NIB) that finally got to "stretch their legs". The set, like many K-Lines was a 4 pack. However in the last year I was able to find 2 more cars (Parlor which I intend to convert to Coaches). Strangely K-line never offered matching Coaches.
After running behind Bill's DL-109's, he asked me what else I would like to run. So being MainLine Steam (right or wrong) we pulled them with his ATSF Texan 2-10-4.
