I've been a lover of F3 Locomotives since I was three and I've gathered a small F3 Collection since coming back to O Gauge Trains. I would like to see the other collections out there..Thanks - MARSHELANGELO

This subject comes up every now and then, but it never gets old. I think the F units are without a doubt the best looking diesels ever made. Here are some photos for you.

Why are the points of the turnouts AGAINST the units closest to them?
Way to Hot Water. Welcome to the digital age. And just last week you told me you didn't know how to post pictures.
What's next, a web page with movies of your layout? I'll be looking for the videos next week at this time.
Don't hold your breath on THAT, Jim. We don't have a video camera anyway. I did finally figure out how to post photos here on the OGR Forums, however.

Just to give you something to notice.

Thanks for the "non-technical" answer.

Lionel F units are so cool !! Have a NYC pair that run great. Also have video of the old Bessemer units working their last days hauling coal.
I can't be the only one that would love to see Lionel make one of these engine scale sized;

Looks great. By the way, I sent you, Bruce, an email using the address in your profile and it came up undeliverable. My email address is in my profile; send me your email address and I'll resend my email. Thanks.

OK. I'll add these to the party. My Boston & Maine premier ABBA set.

I am so sad because I don’t have any F3s I want a scale ABBA phase 2 set in the Pennsylvania freight scheme (Brunswick green/DGLE, single stripe), but with the newest electronics. MTH and Lionel have not done one since 2006/2005 respectively, and Atlas O has yet to do one in their F3 series. I’d prefer Atlas since it might be cheaper than buying two sets of F3s from MTH/Lionel to get two powered A units, but any new release would be nice. So I guess I will just sit here and wait some more.

Bruce, the email address in your profile is the same one I tried earlier, and it again did not work.
I'll just ask here: what detail did you add--handrails,etc.?
