I have a few that I inherited from my father-in-law, but they don't get run much. At a recent meeting at B&O Bill's house, I did take my 2035, 736, and complete set of 9500 PRR "Broadway Limited" passenger cars for a few laps around the layout.

Awesome! They are looking good! I need to get back to running my trains, but there is one problem. No matter many times I clean the track and electric rollers, they always stop. No matter what engine it is.

Kusan De Mexico Nacionales Alco and Gravy Train boxcar.
very nice CAP, I need to finish getting the 9500 cars for my 675.
trumptrain - I have a friend that suggested a product called GooGone and a Scotchbright sponge. I works sometimes, but not all of the time. I put a little bit of it on the sponge and go over the track thoroughly. Then I wipe it off with a paper towel.

I agree with you. A lot of younger people today, such as teenagers like myself, are not interested in postwar trains. I, however, happen to enjoy them very much. Can't wait to see those sets, by the way!

They are few and far between
Biil T, do you have any other pictures of your layout? I wouldn't mind seeing them.
BANDOB: Thanks for posting! The RDC looks great!
handyandy: Nice! Is the steamer on the left in the top photo a Marx?
In the top picture, the steamer on the left is a '46 Lionel 2020. the one on the right is a late '40's Marx 999.

Its a '46, eh? The oldest item I have is a '47 Lionel caboose.
Does anyone have an all ORIGINAL 2505W five car set with the Virginian rectifier? I know Lionel reproduced this set, but was wondering if anyone had the original '58.
Very nice! One question, though, are these complete sets or broken up? I have been searching on http://www.postwarlionel.com/index.html#Main and I have found the engines, but not the sets.
1962 catalog.
The New Haven set is 11232.
The steam set is 11242.

Where does that site have information on sets? I couldn't find any.
I got the set information right off the catalog page.
I have the John's HSL program of Postwar catalogs for my Ipad. It comes in very handy.
Peter
I will have look and see if that app is available for android.
