Slants/38s/11/16 to the Rockaways!

August 3, 2014, the Transit Museum put together what is now known as "The Train of Many Metals".

The 8-Car Train made up of the Famous R40 Slants, R38s, R42s, the Green R16 and the "Train of the Future - R11" intended for 2 Av Subway Service "back then" lol. Anyways, here's some photos of the train between Rockaway Blvd and Rockaway Park-Beach 116 St on the A Line.
