So now that I own two Lionchief Plus locomotives, second one to arrive tomorrow, I want to treat them with kid gloves. For awhile anyway.....LOL What brands of smoke fluid are recommended, besides Lionel brand ?

I've always just run the manufacturer's smoke fluid. MTH Protosmoke in MTH units and Lionel Premium in Lionel units. Haven't killed a smoke unit yet.
I’ve used Seuthe smoke fluid for years and have been happy with the smoke production.

MTH is okay. Many of the members in our youth group use MTH fluid. Lionel really works though.
