So now that I have been using DCS for a couple months now, and having Barry's book at hand, I have been doing more "experimenting" with the different functions. I notice that one of the acronyms is FLM "Legacy Mode" on/off. What does this function do? I would take this as meaning that if I have a Lionel Legacy engine, that the Legacy features would be turned off or on. Why someone would want to turn off Legacy features is beyond me.
So am I missing something here?

The Legacy Mode has nothing to do with Lionel Legacy Engines or System.
It places PS2 engines into conventional mode after they start up in command.
Be careful with that one....... run away.....at full voltage,,,
Would you guys recommend deleting the soft key from the menu on all PS2 engines? I see no need to use it (I don't run or plan to run them in conventional while using DCS).
If you simply move a different set of keys up to the head of the list, the only place Legacy Mode will appear is in the ...more... menu, just ignore it.
