I just found a date for the Strasburg O scale show as 2 weeks before the coming York, rather than, as sometimes, the weekend before. Nobody is going to sit around in expensive motels between shows for a week. Is that a valid date?

Rich Yoder's site says Oct. 12, 2018. Your post doesn't note a date.
This was handed out at the April meet. Haven't seen anything suggesting it was rescinded. Would like to see these shows continue to be successful and would not like to see attendance impacted by rumor.

October 12, 2018 is a Friday.
I was going to note 10/12 is a Friday. The posting l found after digging was Oct. 6, which l was commenting on. I can't blow that posted flyer up to legibility.....so l am cornfoozed...when IS the Oct. Strasburg show?
John Dunn has a post on here that say the meet is Oct 13th. He should know he is one of the organizers and helps run that meet.
This is interesting. I have the flyers from all of the past shows from the past 5 years plus. it has always shown Oct. 13 for 2018 as long as 2018 has been in the cue.
2018 shows Oct. 13.
2019 shows Oct. 12.
2020 shows Oct. TBD
Oct. 12, 2018 would be for Friday night dealer setup.
Oct. 6 is not on any of the flyers I have for 2018.

Yes, you can't believe everything on the internet !!! And nobody goofed- Rich and I generally plan 2/3 years in advance with our good friends at the Strasburg fire company and put the future meet dates on all our flyers as the one posted states.
Please kindly think before you post on this forum, a simple email to me- I am and have been a very active poster on this 2 rail forum-
and place my email and phone number on every post I submit- to avoid this.
