On June 4th and 5th, 2016, the Somerset County 4-H Trainmasters will be having their June show. We've been operating for 16 years now and our club is operated primarily by kids as well as adult leaders. What started from a Hi-rail group has slowly turned into a group where creativity is the goal. Not only do we operate a 4 track mainline, but we also have worked hard to build a 6 track yard as well as a roundhouse. Peaking around 30 members, our club is paving the way for new members in the O scale hobby.

Its absolutely great what the 4H Club is doing to bring model railroading to the coming generations.  I will make it a point to support the group and attend the event.  Wouldn't it be great if the ED/TCA invited this club of young people to York?

I wish we could be invited to York. But the fact of the matter is our layout is too huge. Not to toot our own horn. However recently we have partnered with METCA as the new METCA kids club. So maybe one day..

The Metropolitan Division will have its "Metca" table there both days.  Myself and members of my Board of Directors will be there throughout the weekend as well as members to show support for the 4H Trainmasters.   We are very excited about our partnership with the 4H Trainmasters becoming our Kids club and look forward to a very long friendship.

We are excited as well. Perhaps we can get those 1971 CNJ F's on our layout..
