Has anyone used the ERR products? Can you comment on the installation/instructions that you experienced? Quality of TMCC and RailSounds once installed?

   We use ERR products all the time. I just finished installing Tmcc and RS4 in a dual motored FM Trainmaster. The installations are not hard to do. Go here

Were the motors in the FM unit you converted can motors or Pullmor?

They have a fair amount of volume.  I think you will be fine installing one on th RDC.  The only ones that I think would outdo the sound units would be the early F-3s with the horizontal motors and the little Vulcan and Army switchers.

I've put the ERR RailSounds Commander in several Pulmore motored units, the work just fine and are plenty loud.  The volume has a lot to do with the speaker installation, make sure you have good baffle on the speaker for best results.  The last one I did was an SD-40 with dual Pulmore motors, and the sound was able to overpower the motor noise.
