Yes, it appears that those links also loop back to the new MTH home page. I expect (crossed fingers )that this will be squared away this coming week.
In the mean time, you can still search for individual engine web pages using the search function on the home page. If those engines have sound files, you'll be able to download them from the Support tab.
So, my engine is a proto 2 upgrade. There is no files for it, I think, so I found a proto 2 original aba Rio Grande that would probably work. I found it through the search but I don't see a Support tab. It's a 20-2349-1

Link above. The upgrade file is there. You still want to search via the service link to get sound files, instructions and parts list. G
So I went to the link and downloaded the proto sound upgrade. I then downloaded it to the engine. I got a 100% download and the engine started up. I shut down the power, deleted the engine from the handheld and tried to add the engine. It comes up no engine to add. Any thoughts?

Sounds like a dead or very weak battery.
I appreciate the idea. I charged the engine yesterday. I have been running it this am and now this.

Just curious why you deleted it but anyway you could try the recover engine feature under engine set up. Are you using a programming track?? or equivalent??
If I read Barry's book correctly it said to delete it and re add it on all handhelds. tried another handheld that it is still in and it says engine not on track. I did not use a test track and I just had someone tell me that could be an issue.
I believe in the early days, deleting and adding the engine again would lock in the sound file. I'm not sure that's still necessary because I believe the loader does a factory reset near the end of the download.
You must have used a test track or equivalent to download the sound file. (no other engines on the track) .Did the same ID number come up in the other remote?
Okay, I'm now on a test track and when I apply power through the TIU the engine starts up as conventional. While it was that way I tried downloading the sound file and all it says is there is no engine on the track. Any ideas?
i went to the web sight for the engione sound file and it took me there here is the link i used!

Okay guys, I got control of it. Thanks for your help.

Hey You're not getting off that easy, what did you do?
Go it on a test track, different TIU than my layout and went into DCS setup and hit AON and then shutdown and it did shut down . I tested my layout TIU on another engine earlier and it worked, DCS was obviously on. Doesn't compute for me but it worked.
I still have that awful horn for the f3's. So, I'm still looking for something to download that has a classy horn as opposed to BLAAAAAAHHH!!!!!!!
Does anyone know of an F unit that has a decent horn. 20-2349-1 is the same as well as the 30-2184 BLAAAH?
