Hi Ron, I wish the club made 100%. You know me long enough that I tell it like it is. Most of the money is made by LIONEL. We can't produce the cars in the thousands so we pay more than a direct dealer! it's called and thats the way it is!
as far as investing money, if you believe 1% is lot of money oh well. AS elliot mentioned he doesn't like paying up front well i believe he has missed some of our past board announcements. ANYTHING THAT IS 120.00 OR MORE WE TAKE SPLIT PAYMENTS ON. ANYTHING UNDER THAT REQUIRES PAYMENT IN FULL.The new prospector requires a 99.00 deposit not even 50%. if members prefer I lie to them about all the problems they should be in my shoes. If something is screwed up I take the heat. representing the club I do my best to see we get quality products. if you think THIS VENDOR IN CHINA is not the problem your wrong. i delivered the tinplate set from concet to delivery in under 100 days because i used a different Chinese vendor. When people waited for MTH's MELS diner for 3 years nobody screamed abot their deposits. My answer to those who complain, IT'S YOUR CLUB TOO SO TRY STEPPING UP TO THE PLATE.
