If you are going to the Fall York meet, and have any interest in standard gauge trains, please stop by the Black Hall, 'Standard Gauge Central' for this meet. As in the Spring, we will have a very large standard gauge layout running the course of the meet. This time it will be fully sceniced with vintage accessories, buildings, even the 'Burplaspa Tunnel' (what's that? come join us and find out)
We will be having our SGMA breakfast Friday at 7:30 AM and will be providing the coffee and donuts. It's a 'show and tell' event where many many unique and awesome standard gauge trains of all sorts are displayed. Last time they covered 2 of the 3 tracks all the way around the layout, including many craftsman built one of a kind locos and set.
Please bring your favorite train to display!
It was a huge event in the spring, we had an awesome time.
We will also have chairs and tables set up so if you want to set a spell, come around any time. We even have bathrooms!
And please come and say hi to me or any of the other SGMA members, always glad to share the joy and answer whatever questions you have!
