We had so much fun running my standard gauge Zephyr at York last month. Towards the end of the meet we did what I always loved to do with the Lionel O Flying Yankee since boyhood- light it up on the straightaway, in this case 50 foot long.
Turn up the sound!

Love the Zephyr at speed. I usually run freight at around 35 SMPH. Passenger trains more like 55. But I have an MTH Premier Pioneer Zephyr that just doesn’t look right unless it is doing at least 65 SMPH.
