Looking to build a cake tiered layout using loop std 42 with 14 inch straight realtrax then I have the option of either fasttrax O36 or realtrax O31 for the next layer then O27 and then 019 katz track for the top for the 515 limited. Also have a trolley but with as tight of space don't think I have a good spot for it. Will this fit inside one another. Also what's a good way to isolate an outside rail of real trax

They won't fit naturally in parallel.
Do you mean STD gauge RealTrax then move to O gauge?

Pretty sure the 036 Fastrak will not fit inside the Standard Gauge RealTrax. You may want to use 031 Fastrak. The colors will match better and it will fit.

The table is 5' wide for the STD RealTrax 042 with a 14" straight.
Then it's RealTrax 031, Lionel 027, then you fit your 019. The Lionel 027 had to be inset. The clearances seem to leave enough to do some terrain on the layer sides.
