Hi the GPD train museum's MTH monorail has stripped the metal drive gear that attaches to the drive wheel. MTH has no replacements. Suggestions? It is avery popular item and the public keeps asking when it is going to be fixed.

I purchased an MTH pioneer zephyr new years ago. First time out of the box it derailed and the front and rear motors got out of sync. MTH's response: take it to your local dealer. Last time I ever considered anything MTH
Only thought is to have someone custom make a gear for you. Or buy another one and have extra cars / parts.
You might try North West Short Line. They have lots of gears and other parts. I believe they might even make custom gears. Calling them might be best, looks like their website is being re-done.
