I enjoyed it, thanks for posting!
Great stuff, thanks for posting.
When I was in Maryland in 98, I went up to ride that about once a month. I saw/rode behind 90 several times then.
Glad Great Western #90 is back in service....I always look for it at Strasburg, and did not see it in April. Now if somebody would just offer a three rail model of it....Scott Mann and 3rd Rail are probably the best hope for that....I can't be the only customer for it
Thanks guys! I agree there definitely should be a 3 rail model of this locomotive.
Very nice! I wasn't sure what was going on 1 1/2 years ago when I was there for the Day with Thomas. I think the boiler was still out of it.
It looks really good, now. A lot of work to get it back on the rails. Congratulations!
Good ole Number Ninety, far, far from home, but still chugging on....

90 was down for running gear and wheel repair (with some boiler repair) for approximately one year. 475 and 89 shared her duties in the summer, spring, and fall while she was being repaired.
She essentially got all new profiled wheels and new running gear.

Missed 475 when I was there in September but I'd ridden behind that locomotive before on trips there in the late 90s.
Got this instead:
Great pic J Daddy! Lee that's quite an interesting video considering both would end up on the same track!
New video! This one has scenes of SRC 90 doing over 30 mph for the first time in a while. Two train days have returned to the SRC!
Thanks for watching!
