While the cars do not suffer from high water pants, they do have a big light coming through between the car and the trucks. This is due the lack of the undercarriage center beam. It can be fixed, but it is very time consuming and not ideal. Note how much better the fixed car looks compared to  the production car one. The fixed car looks like a million dollars!

 Can you just imagine how beautiful the real life cars must have been.. Nice collection and your expertise in the upgrade modifications required are well noted and make total sense'... Very good observations'...🧐

Thanks!  Scott does really nice work.  I am saturated with long passenger trains, but would have added a Skytop and maybe a coach if they had been offered separately.  A fellow forumite was going to do the rear windows on "Shapeway", but sort of dropped out.  If I get my hands on an ABS part it will go to Valley Brass for conversion.

Sure, I used styrene strips attached to the bolster and the molded plastic undercarriage. The have some play between them so the car can go through 70” radius curves.

Even your layout is gorgeous.  I am now officially jealous!

Are the cars the correct height?

Amazing detail and so clean! The whole train is a thing of beauty.

Same mounting used for both 2 and 3-rail to keep costs down.

Can you show bottom photos of a car you’ve corrected?

No hijack intended , but who make those lamps on the platform? Are they the new atlas lamps?

The interiors are VERY well made. Super detailing would be a breeze if you’re willing go that route. I Just remove the figures and do some minor touch ups. 

Great photos of a spectacular train! I’m considering ordering a set from the 2nd run. Please post more pictures as you detail your interiors.

So nice! Can I ask what is that fabric you are using for table cloths & where do you get your vases & kitchen stove detail parts? I want to do some of this fine detail work to my GGD sets but don’t know where to get all those furnishings.
