how about painting them green with some black wash on the bottoms ? im in the bronx ny and our posts on our els are green with some black dirt on the bottoms from the car traffic
Thanks for your input, I grew up in the bronx. I'll try the green, I think its a dark green. My layout is half Bronx and the other half is rual country.
that top first pic ,is that the # 2/5 el by simpson st ? looks like it
