I have an attic room, 12 x 23 with access in the center of the floor. Just built bench work, 43 inches wide on all the walls, so the operator would be in the center. My goals are to be able to run up to 6 trains withOUT command control, meaning each train will need to run on its own track. Was thinking 2 elevated lines. Since this is relatively a big circle, not sure how to get some dogbones into the system for reversed running. Was thinking about a big bridge across the middle of the room for some kind of figure 8? I do already have a **** gate bridge but not long enough to span the bench work from one side of the room to the other. I can easily build a longer bridge.
I would plan to make some interconnectivity between the 6 lines and my minimum planned radius (diameter?) would be 72" and larger.
So my main question is how to get some dog bones into this limited bench work? Your ideas and suggestiosn are greatly appreciated.
