Suggestions needed for Williams scale GG1 upgrades/mods

Have three recently purchased never opened Williams by Bachmann scale GG1's I'm looking to ugrade or mod. For those who've moded or upgraded these GG1s, what do you suggest? What gives the most bang for the buck? BTW, I'm not at all savy nor comfortable with opening up a loco so for any work done, I'd have to pay someone to do it. I'm especially fond of slow realistic running locos with sound and/.or cab talk chatter. So what options do I have? What are your suggestions and ideas? BTW, I can currently run conventional, DCS and TMCC systems but have no desire to upgrade to the Legacy system.

Weaver Models (Gary in Service Dept.) converted my scale Williams GG-1 to TMCC with ERR cruise control at a very reasonable price a few years ago. Give him a call.

I have done many DCS upgrades to the Williams G. They run fantastic and in my book Williams is still a great product. I am not able to assist you in doing work at this time and I would be willing to bet someone will show up on your post to help. Go for an upgrade you will be happy.

I have the single stripe PRR GG1 and couldn't be more happier with it...If you like slower running then check out this link, total time was about 15 minutes to do:

Yesterday, I installed 3mm red LED's from Evan Designs up in the marker lite are because the existing ones don't lite up. The difference was amazing. Time to do, about 20 minutes...
