Yes, but they're not all that functional.  From the vantage point outside the layout, it would be difficult to see some of the lights.  That's why I want them all in one place.

The ITLA utility building kit could be adapted with a little work. Maybe cut the side windows into one and extend the window sill. You could fashion a window out of styrene with framing that exactly fits the indicator panel.

Your module looks like a solar panel to me. Why couldn’t you put it on the roof of a building and possible frame around it to hide the sides. This is probably a crazy idea but I am just throwing it out there.

I see that one of the first post you got had a similar idea. If you covered the board with some screen material like what is used for a fence it could look like a more convincing panel.

Not many solar panels around in the 1950's.   Also, I want to put numbers on it to be able to identify the whisker tracks.

I like Alex’s building. Just modify the side windows to make one. Looks to be the right size where the Hostlers would hang out. What brick you cut out could be reused as filler pieces. Not sure you want just an opening or a framed window to look through. This one from Tichy Train Group is pretty close size wise.

How about the Plasticville greenhouse?

What about a pile of RR ties. You can get them from Ross. You can model them as new replacements or distress them a bit as ones that were pulled up.  You can bury the circuit board in an opening. Just cut a bunch of short ones to hide the board so only the screen shows.  

My other idea. Is place a old wooden boxcar with the trucks removed up on blocks. Slide the door open so the screen is visible. These were often used for storage of things. Put plenty of rr. clutter around and some steps going up.

Interesting ideas.
