Max Foods.....taken down and going up.......
Thank you to the person who invented CA glue......I certainly use a lot to keep Max Foods together......

Peter,
Max Foods is one of my favorite buildings. Thank you for posting.
Steve,
Beautiful work as always.
Dennis,
Excellent house model.
Took a vacation day and made some actual progress on Fish Pier. I finished assembling the building and now am working on "blocking" - figuring out placement of other buildings and items to have the proper visual effect. This is loosely based on the Union Freight railroad running through Boston as well as inspired by John Pryke's work and book. I have lots of detailing and painting work ahead...
The fishing boats moor along Fish Pier to unload their fish onto scales and into the warehouse.
A rail spur on the other side allows a reefer to be spotted here for loading.
Atlantic avenue runs in front of the pier and into some downtown stores.
View from the downtown store and bar along Atlantic avenue.
Alan, Dennis, Steve, Peter and Dave, WOW all excellent and inspiring projects. Great Sunday Showcase. Dave what a great use of a "sick day" I hope you will keep us updated.

Alan: does the owner have flood insurance???????????????
little more progress on the cement plant. been working on roof, office building, and placing the kiln building on layout also figuring out where other support buildings will go. i decided to make the roof an under construction project so more of the detailed inside was visible. i built some scaffolding to support their project just need to get some roof workers on the job.
Alan and Dennis both houses are superb.
Steve, as real as usual.
Peter I second what Alan said about Max Foods. If you used CA glue how do you disassemble it?
Stubby, the cement plant is going to be bigger than my whole layout. Are the raw materials brought in by rail or will there be a mine on-site?

Outstanding detail! I mean forreal forreal. The water treatment plant, GEEZ!
Dave
coach joe i’m thinking of having a quarry pit in the far right/back of layout. materials will also be brought in by barge to the dock. there will be a train line to carry out cement both bagged and hoppers
dave the circular farm that looks like a treatment plant is actually the wet slurry that is mixed and feed into the cold end of kiln. it comes out other end as clinker once the moisture is removed by the kiln.
Great stuff this week!
Peter
Excellent posts all around!!!
@Joe Fauty
I thought I would give you a heads up on how far the Big House had come.
