I have quite a bit going on in the shop but took this project on as a side quest now that I have a way faster printer. This water tower is based on a PRR/GR&I prototype which still stands in Ravenna MI. I started on it this week after finding it on the internet. I thought the concrete base was pretty interesting. I estimated its dimensions from the images I found and also freestyled the tank a bit after suspecting it wasn’t original. Sure enough I found videos on YouTube showing the base without a tank ca. 1989. Someday I’ll go measure it. It’s still a work in progress.

More ballasting and the enclosed area will house a transformer......IMG_2391IMG_2390

At York, I purchased this old K-Line building kit for $10 just to get the roof detail piece (seen on the bottom of the picture)......

Moved buildings around........I placed a low height building on the left so one could still see down street and the area next door might be a good spot for picnic tables.

Lastly, here are the pictures of the new Korber buildings I bought......
