I have a Sunset 3rd Rail Electroliner that seems to have TMCC in it. It is stuck in forward whether switch in "Run" or "Program" mode. This is the only switch it seems to have. No hints in the little instruction sheet. Running it conventional where switch should be in "Run". Put in a new battery, it didn't make a difference. Suggestions? Thanks.

I am by no means an expert but when I have had similar TMCC engine problems, I have done a TMCC factory reset to fix them. You can probably get an answer from a real expert if you re-post on the TMCC forum.
I have the MTH Electroliner. I finally saw the 3rd rail version at the April TCA York show. Very nice unit. Unlike the MTH they preserved the interior of the powered unit.

Is there any means to reset that doesn't require having a Lionel control system. I have only a ZW transformer. Any secret switch? Jumper this point to that point? Anything?
Nope. How does it respond, does it have fwd and neutral with second neutral at reverse, or always fwd no neutral. If former, the motor drive is suspect, or R2LC, or 4 pin PWM harness. Need to swap parts. If the latter is the Program/Run switch defective/hardwired? G
