Question guys...

A couple of months back I was told that Sunset was still trying to get models reserved so they can have production. I was also told that production would likely be a year off.

Tonight after the gym on my Android I see a note from Sunset saying that production is in November while delivery is in December.

Can anyone speak to this? This is much sooner than I anticipated.

All I can say is that I certainly hope to see mine in December.  She will be the belle of the ball at the Northwest Trunk Lines Christmas party.

There will be a "Tale of three Northrens" review of the Third Rail Timken along with the MTH GN S-2 and the Lionel Milwaukee S-3.  That just might help kick off an O Scale Guide to Steam Locomotives.

David, Sorry for not more effectively communicating the schedule of the Timken, NPA1 Oil and Coal production.

Things sometimes move more rapidly than anticipated. The production sample of the Timken is being painted right now. Realistically, I think these will be finished in December or January, and arrive in January or February. But still it is earlier than anticipated. I hope you like the results.
