Are you experiencing difficulty accessing the support portion of Lionel's website? I am.

The link is dead, it goes to a blank page
Maybe that's their way of dealing with their huge pile-up of warranty repairs...
I received two emails from Dean in Lionel Service today, Wednesday, February 14, 2018. He is getting caught up answering emails from Monday. They are there working.
They haven't answered my email from Feb 6 about returning a defective, brand new switch.
I sent in an email in early/mid December; I am still patiently awaiting a reply. Good to hear they're getting caught up.
The Support portion of Lionel's website is back up this morning.
By the way, I don't see a connection between part of Lionel's website being down--these things happen and are an IT issue--and response time from Lionel's customer service department.
And re customer service, since so much of our hobby is seasonal, aren't the winter months naturally a time when the workflow in customer service increases exponentially?

This is just my second year being a member in the months after Christmas. Last year there was the same posts. And there were also posts saying it was the same in years past lol Ive posted the same thing you did a time or two lol

This problem still persists for me after trying three different browsers on Mac devices and IE on a Windows PC. On Macs either the support page simply comes up blank or there's a "server dropped connection" message; IE suggests that there's an insecure cipher being used by the website, which I guess means vulnerability to hacking issue.
Maybe those who are getting through to lionelsupport.com are using older browsers? If anyone's got a workaround I'd appreciate knowing what it is.
Try another browser?
You should keep an extra browser in case I.E. "breaks" anyhow. You can use the backup browser to reload I.E.
Firefox should play well with Windows.
It could also be a server "throttling" as that is legal again..... unless I missed something in the last two months.
It's not a browser issue. The Support portion of Lionel's website is down again. I'm sure their IT is working on it.
Yeah, it is definitely down. I tried running a ping and a traceroute, but Lionel blocks those at the firewall for both Lionel.com and Lionelsupport.com Probably due to the "ping floods" (DoS) attacks a few years ago.
how many of these threads do we need?
