SW-7: blank canvas! | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

I have a brass SW-7 en route, loco is unpainted. I am seeking input for an attractive paint scheme that works on Eastern Roads. The paint scheme needs to be accurate and be a RR that operated the locomotive. I was considering Erie, LV and another PRR I am primarily PRR and have the following:

S-12 CNW

S-12 SP

S-12 PRR

RS-3 NYC

44t B&O

GP38 PRR

VO-1000

Don't know if they had any SW7 models, but try C&O or DL&W for a "change of pace".

The Montour RR which was partially owned by both the PRR and P&LE had SW7. Most were SW9s I believe #70, #71 and #72 were SW7s

Note the louver and headlight difference SW9

I recently did a couple of Atlas SW9 in Montour

When modeling the Montour, it's Black and dirt.

Wikipedia on the VO 1000 Says there were 548.
