Switcher Saturday 01-14-23

@MELGAR, thanks for taking care of our little thread yesterday.   

To keep things going and Switcher related,  here's a lionel 4 wheel Crayola diesel staged in the yard.

I had hoped to have some live steam switcher photos to show off this weekend,  but I never made it to the Cabin Fever Expo friday afternoon.

Unfortunately,  I slipped off the road, and then this happened.

I have no idea how I managed to do this,  but I am fortunate to have only minor injuries.   Airbags are wonderful things.

My switcher budget just got totaled.  I get to deal with the aftermath this week.  Hopefully I can find a vehicle that still allows for some rolling stock to trickle in!

@jhz563 - Thank God you are OK!!  As I have told my family members when something like this happens..."cars can be fixed, people not so much".  I hope you feel better soon and again glad that no serious damage occurred to you.

JHZ, I usually "like" your post, but a "like" just didn't seem appropriate today!  I'm very happy to hear you're OK and I now understand why you seemed stressed when you requested a volunteer for the thread.  Hopefully it won't take too long to get your switcher budget funded again!

The only thing that matters is that you and your family are OK. The switchers can wait - the wife and kids are so much more important. I hope the injuries are minor and we will see some new switcher photos from you soon.

JHZ563 sorry for your mishap with your van.  AND I'm glad you escaped with only minor injuries. Hopefully none of your family were injured.   These kind of things can be much worse.  There will always be plenty of switchers ready for purchase whenever you are ready to buy them but there is only one JHZ563!  

@jhz563, wow, that’s ashamed that you had the auto incident, but, the good news is your not badly hurt,  I’m assuming. Cars can be repaired, our bodies are a different story, so, take your time healing. @MELGARR did a fine job at the helm for yesterdays switcher Saturday. It was very thoughtful for you to ask for help to keep this fun to read thread in full motion. You will be in our prayers. Happy Railroading Everyone
