Happy New Year!!  πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ†πŸŽ†πŸˆπŸˆ

Hello Switcher Saturday faithful!  Welcome to the New Year's Day '22 edition of our favorite weekly thread.

For those just finding us for the first time,  this thread celebrates Switcher Locomotives of all scales, and gauges, any era, any motive power, with an obvious heavy concentration of 3 rail O gauge.

Now, switchers are usually smaller,  nimble,  multi purpose machines.   But sometimes its the way the machine is used, not just it's size.

Case in point: Schuylkill Valley Shifter.

So out with 2021...

And in with 2022!

Here's hoping for a good year for all of you and for the country too.

God Bless you all, and Happy New Year!!

Johan,

Glad to have you back with us.  I missed your posts displaying your exceptional modeling skills.  I always have the urge to work on my scenery after seeing your contributions.  Look forward to seeing your progress on your modules.  Keep us posted. Happy New Year!

Tom

Thanks Tom. I will now try to keep you up to date on how the project is progressing. Sometimes later when the layout is "complete", I will invest more in the equipment and details.

Johan

What a fun forum!  I’ll run this same sequence next Saturday with my new Beta 3.0 Menards F unit.  Should be a direct comparison - dual motor low end unit with radio control hand-held.

K-Line 42”, Lionel 42”, and Marx 34” switches.  Gargraves flex track at about 34”, Lionel tubular and Marx 34” tubular track.

Dropping a propane tanker at Johnson Controls Battery Plant.

I do also understand that the GP38 isn’t a pure switching engine, so I include this short clip of my Burlington conventional control SW1 making a run to the engine house.

Well SwSat fans, I just couldn't make it this weekend.  I was on the road back to Tx most of the weekend and could not post.  So in the "better late than never" category, let me first wish everyone on SwSat a HAPPY NEW YEAR !!  Then a few pictures from my archive just for fun.

The BEEP PRR switcher in action last summer.

Well again sorry I was late, jhz the "tale of the New Years sign" was funny, but I liked the video as well.

Happy New Year again everyone
