does anybody know if a Lionel GG1 motor truck side frame will fit the TCA Williams GG1 from 1979?...Thanks all joe

Not sure Joe. I remember reading about that set and how Jerry Williams took on the project as his first model of the GG1. Do NOT remember much of the details regarding his source although it is highly likely that he used Lionel's model as his inspiration! It originally cane with only a single motor, no flywheel, and they ran poorly. A kit was produced to add a 2nd motor and powered truck to assist pulling but it was still not very smooth. Makes a nice display piece however and I suppose you could add ERR electronics to make a decent runner. At one time they were easily obtainable and cheap. No idea what the market is on them now...
